Butts ‘n Guts
I am excited to announce my upcoming solo show, Butts ‘n Guts. As the title suggests, the paintings in this on-going series depict intimate scenes and graphic imagery that feature plenty of butts and guts. If you peel back the skin of Butts ‘n Guts, however, you will discover that this body of work goes beyond just representations of flesh and blood. Collectively, these paintings explore the duality between power and vulnerability and how it relates to violence, sexuality, and masculinity.
Butts ‘n Guts will be displayed at the Vault Gallery from October 24 - November 19, 2026. There will be an opening reception on October 24 from 5:00-8:00 PM. See poster for additional details.
2026 Sooke Fine Art Show
